Delta Synergetics (“we”, “us”) provides forensic engineering and expert witness services. This policy explains what information we collect through deltasynergetics.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us: when you use our contact form, email us or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the information you include about your matter.
Information collected automatically: our website host, Framer, records basic usage information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and referring page, to produce aggregate site statistics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Embedded video: our About page includes a YouTube video served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may set cookies and collect information once you play the video, under Google’s privacy policy.
How we use information
We use the information to respond to your inquiry, run conflict checks, evaluate and provide our services, communicate with you about your matter, operate and improve the Site, and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business (such as our website host and email provider), with your attorney or client team as part of an engagement, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights.
Confidentiality of case information
Submitting the contact form or emailing us does not create an engagement or a confidential relationship. Please send only the names of the parties and a short summary until we confirm we have no conflict of interest. Once engaged, case materials are handled under the terms of our written engagement agreement.
Do Not Track
Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your online activities across other websites through our Site, except for YouTube when you choose to play the embedded video.
Data retention and security
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, to keep conflict-check records, and to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have submitted, subject to legal and professional record-keeping obligations. Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information; we do not sell covered information. To make any request, email Support@deltasynergetics.com. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
The Site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
